Sussex Engagement

Lusia and Paul are just the cutest couple ever…!  I really looked forward to this shoot with them as they wanted a mixture of beach, urban and countryside – perfect for me.  The weather was fantastic for the whole week leading up to the shoot, and then on the morning the heavens opened…typical hey!  Anyways, I did a little sun dance and headed off out the door with a spring in my step, hoping that Mr Sunshine would be kind to me.  What is it they say about plans…best laid plans and all that…instead of heading straight to the beach we stopped for lunch in Arundel at my favourite cream tea shop (in my book where there’s cake there’s smiles).   After an hour or so the rain stopped and we kicked off the shoot in and around the streets of Arundel, moving onto the beautiful beach at East Wittering and finishing up in a gorgeous yellow field…oooh and I forgot to mention there were ice creams along the way.  Although Paul was a tad worried beforehand, it took just a few minutes on the day for him to relax into it and even throw a few poses (I’m thinking the by-product of many years looking at the ‘Littlewoods’ catalogue as a child! hehe)…check out the Derek Zoolander poses too!  Great day and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in less than 3 weeks time! 🙂

I am crying my eyes out here looking at those. I remember first day I met Lu, over 6 years ago and every step of our friendship and every conversation we had about her dreams to reach that day and her phone call in the morning announcing their engagement and the day Lu bought those gorgeous flowery dresses.. so so happy for you guys… The pictures look absolutely great.. And I love every single one of them, but especially the first one. Paul, Luisa, it will be an honour to be a part of your big day! Looking forward to it!
Anna, great job, you have captured them as they really are, a bit crazy, bit mad and absolutely in love.
    Lots of love

I'm a Sussex based wedding photographer, but I love to shoot all over the south east of England and if you're planning a destination wedding, I'm all ears.
