Pub weddings are right up there with my all time favourite places to capture weddings. Now, just to be clear I’m not talking about any old random pubs here…think the delightfully different ones with a reputation for serving great tasty wholesome food. The Quirky. Open Fires. Animal skins. Antlers. Taxidermy. Cosy. Unique kind of pubs. Whether it’s nestled in a quiet rural village in the countryside, or alongside the River Thames in London, a pub wedding with it’s relaxed, informal vibe suits me and my style of documentary photography perfectly.
I’ve had the pleasure of capturing many a pub wedding, and each and every one has always been fun filled, totally unique and with the most brilliant bunch of people. Some of my all time favourite pubs for weddings are The Bell in Ticehurst, Kent, The White Horse in Chilgrove, West Sussex, The Peasant in Clerkenwell, London and The Rose on the Albert Embankment, London.
