WHOOP! You’re getting married! Awesome news. Your wedding is a super exciting time: the planning, the creativity the big day itself…it’s a culmination of lots of hard work, plenty of patience and a whole heap of love.

It’s also just the start of your story which is the really humbling thing about being commissioned to photograph one. Being asked to document the beginning of a life-long journey is just about the coolest thing you can be asked to do. You know that thing that some couples do, when they frame old photos of their parents and grandparents on their own wedding days and display them at the venue for guests to see? That gets me every time. The beginning of something unique and beautifully human, captured for posterity forever. Proper family heirlooms.

I employ a nice, easy-going hands-off approach. I’m there when you need me, I’m off shooting when I need to be.
