Barn Weddings
I’ve seen so many different and wonderful weddings in barns from beautiful hand fasting humanist ceremony’s to emotional civil ceremonies, and not forgetting the many often hilarious and teary speeches. The endless decorating opportunities are fantastic too from keeping it simple to going wild and hanging endless metres of festoon and fairy lights (which I love!) and spending hours crafting bits and bobs – the only limits are your imagination.
I’ve been fortunate to capture loads of barn weddings all over the UK in really rustic old barns set amongst rolling farmland to fully restored ones nestled in quiet countryside, and what I love about them all is how they are always really personalised, intimate weddings jam packed full of fun and always with a great party atmosphere …seemingly attracting couples who really like to party and thus some of my most favourite weddings have been in barns!
Some of my favourite barns include Horseshoes Barn at the Housemeadow in Kent, Grittenham Barn in Sussex, Gate Street Barn in Surrey, Herons Farm in Berkshire, Kingscote Barn in Gloucestershire, to name but a few…and number 1 on my barn wish list is Preston Court in Kent so if you’re planning a wedding here be sure to get in touch and you’ll have a new best friend!
