Gianna and Terry’s engagement shoot turned out to be on perhaps what has been one of the hottest days we’ve had this year…we were all slightly melting before we even kicked off! So, I decided a cool drink before shooting was in order – poor Terry had just finished a very long night shift and thus took the opportunity to fill up on some much needed caffeine…bless him! I have to say despite a stressful start to the day for him – he’d burnt a huge hole in his favourite shirt that morning – and some serious lack of sleep, he was an absolute trooper!
When I first met Gianna and Terry they told me that their wedding plans involved a humanist ceremony with a green theme…so with this in mind and knowing about their love of trees, I knew that I would be onto a winner by shooting in Black Heath – a gorgeous quiet heath in Surrey. In contrast to this we also spent some time shooting urban portraits – it was great to combine both for a contrasting vibe to their engagement shoot. I’m so very lucky to meet such lovely people, and to be able to spend time with people who love to have a laugh and enjoy life. I’m really looking forward to shooting their wedding in August at the lovely Fitzelroi Barn in West Sussex.
SUSSEX & LONDON
I'm a Sussex based wedding photographer, but I love to shoot all over the south east of England and if you're planning a destination wedding, I'm all ears.
