OUTDOOR WEDDINGS

Barns, farms, tipis and marquees. Throwing your wedding in the open air is always a winner.
Barn weddings, farm weddings, field weddings, beach weddings, garden weddings, big country weddings, I LOVE THEM ALL. Whether you favour a tremendous three-peaked tipi or a sweet outdoor ceremony in your mum’s garden under an archway festooned with roses, there’s just something about the great outdoors that goes so well with matrimony.

Sitting on hay bales as the sun sinks below the horizon, roasting marshmallows around roaring fire pits, there’s so much you can do with an outdoor wedding. They’re relaxed, personalised and always original. I find that these weddings always involve a lot of pitching in from family and friends which I love. Whether it’s a wedding cake baked by an auntie, or the father-of-the bride nipping over to France to get the wine, there’s a beautiful feeling of community to it all.
