The Peasant Clerkenwell
When I first met Jen and Sam – via the wonders of Skype (as it was soon after the birth of my daughter that they contacted me), I could seriously feel the warmth from them through the webcam. They excitedly told me their plans for a non-traditional relaxed wedding at The Peasant Clerkenwell and St James’ Church in Muswell Hill – I knew instantly their day would be beautiful. What struck me most was that Sam had a wonderful infectious permanent smile and the love they shared between them was clear to see. We all clicked straight away and by the end of the chat they booked me as their wedding photographer…I was super chuffed. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again…hehe – it’s so important that you ‘click’ with your wedding photographer so as to enable relaxed, natural wedding photos to be captured. The more at home you feel with your wedding photographer, the more able you are to just be yourself and enjoy your special day. For me, Jen and Sam epitomise this…they were ‘in the moment’ all day long…I think it shows – what do you reckon? Their day was a total reflection of them…beautiful, emotional and fun.
With a mixture of Spanish and Australian heritage, they incorporated a fusion of both cultures…and the way in which they included so many special friends and family members was totally heart warming. Jen’s family are a seriously talented bunch of people with a-maz-ing voices, which they shared with us all throughout the ceremony. There wasn’t a dry eye in the church…and later in the speeches…and I’d be lying too if I didn’t admit to joining them…hehe
Go see for yourself and enjoy x
