Sussex Wedding Photography

Living in Sussex I’m very lucky to be within close proximity to a plethora of wonderful wedding venues, ranging from beautiful Barns in quaint sleepy villages, to elegant country houses set amongst rolling countryside and boutique hotels along the stunning Sussex coastline.  So many great venues including the secluded beauty of Duncton Mill, the rustic charm of Grittenham Barn, the quiet elegance of The George in Rye, the coastal cool of The Gallivant, the hidden treasure that is Hyde Estate, the quirky cool of The White Horse, and the grandeur of Wiston House and Firle Place to name but a few.  Whatever vibe you’re looking for, Sussex has it all – stunning beaches, rolling countryside, picturesque villages, cool Cities…however you roll, you’ll find your perfect wedding venue in Sussex.  I may of course be biased living here myself, but I genuinely think it has it all!

Some of my personal favourites West side of the County include Duncton Mill – with it’s stunning lakeside location nestled at the foot of the South Downs, it’s a little different and a beautiful ‘blank canvas’ to create your perfect wedding exactly as you envisage it.    Barns wise there are just so many to choose from, but I especially love capturing weddings at Grittenham Barn, as it’s a fabulous mix of rustic barn meets a working farm.  With its stunning gardens, lake, orchard and gritty farm outbuildings, there’s plenty of opportunities to create some gorgeous images.

East of the county, there’s my favourite boutique hotel wedding venues The George in Rye and The Gallivant.  The George in Rye with its chic modern interior and the picturesque cobblestone lanes and historical buildings of Rye provide the most stunning backdrop.  And if you’re after a beachfront location, then look no further than The Gallivant overlooking the gorgeous sand dunes of Camber Sands.  For a girl who can’t get enough of the sea, capturing a wedding in these stunning venues with the beach on hand is a complete joyous treat!
