Sunbeam Studios London Wedding Photography

When I first met with Illana and Bradley and they told me about their plans for their Sunbeam Studios London Wedding, I was super excited. By now you know that I do love a London wedding!  The vibe and pace is always so energetic, and I love getting creative in my imagery with the juxtaposition of beauty with urban grit.  With Illana and Bradley both being creative people, I knew they and the venue would look fabulous.  A bride in a Jenny Packham dress and Emmy shoes – oh yes!  A groom in a bow tie and bespoke 3 piece suit – hell yes!  But what struck me most however, was the emphasis on family for them both.  With many of Bradley’s family coming from overseas and some all the way from New Zealand, and Illana’s travelling down from way up North it was super important to them that everyone had the best time.  And they certainly delivered on that.  It was a truly heart felt day, with much love, laughter and some great dance floor action to boot!

I love how Sunbeam Studios is a blank canvas on which you can project any kind of styling – with their creative flair Illana and Bradley created the perfect mix of style and personalised touches.  Illana baked a yummy gin fused wedding cake – clever lady!  Bradley created all the stationary, plus brewed, bottled and labelled his own beer – how cool is that!  One of the stand out moments from the day which I captured, was when Bradley looked upwards and proudly told his Dad this (who’d passed away years before).  It’s the take your breath away moments like that which really matter to me as a photographer.

Aww the captured memories. Thank you so much Annamarie. You were awesome! Very relaxed and unobtrusive. Just what we wanted. You also speeded through the family shots to make sure we weren’t away from our guests for too long 🙂 Beautiful. Thank you again!!! Xxx

I love all the photos posted above. But my favourite one is that of the photographer featuring the bride in front of the mirror. All the photos look unique and classic. The wedding cake seems to be delicious. The guests would have enjoyed a memorable wedding. I just enjoyed reading the above post.

So many great images…but I was struck by one almost instantly. Its the little things. The bride looking in the mirror with her hand on the wall. Don’t know why. It just told a story that’s hard to put my finger on. Nice work.
