Maunsel House, Somerset Wedding

When Anna and Dan told me about Maunsel House I was very excited….to actually see, feel and experience it for myself was beyond exciting….and I totally understood the draw to get married there – it is a quintessential Englishman’s country manor, filled with all kinds of wonderful eclectic bits and bobs. What I further loved about Anna and Dan’s choice to marry here was that it truly represented them….they love all things old and vintage, living in a period flat in London and getting about in their much loved cream 1968 convertible Morris Minor….seeing them arrive at Maunsel House in this with Anna’s wedding dress taking up the whole back seat, greeted with squeals and excited clapping from her lovely bridesmaids was a delight! There were just so many beautiful moments throughout the day that I could go on and on, so to spare you from that I’ll just highlight 2 for me which stood out – the fact that Anna designed her own Wedding dress and it looked THAT good!!! A-maz-ing!!! And when Dan said to Anna during his speech that you don’t marry the person you can live with, but the person you can’t imagine living without…{and yes I was having a bit of trouble capturing those moments whilst trying to disguise the tears! hehe} – oh and it wouldn’t be me now would it without a mention of those Louboutins…their fabulousness speaks for itself me thinks!!! So, enough from me, just go see the gorgeousness that was Anna and Dan getting married…
