Hestercombe Gardens, Somerset Wedding ~ Sarah & Peet: i do
There are so many things to love about Sarah and Peet’s Hestercombe Gardens wedding – I almost don’t know where to start! Do i start with the fact that…
~ Peet’s Grandad who is 92years old was asked to be their Best Man 🙂
~ Hestercombe Gardens is a visual feast and a tranquil paradise
~ It was a DIY fest of all Sarah and Peet’s favourite things – with most of the table decorations hand crafted and designed by Sarah and Peet themselves (you must go see Peet’s work here– & very excitingly he makes and sells bespoke designs bits and bobs! Go see)
~ Both mums cooked and decorated the Wedding Cake (which tasted a-maz-ing!)
~ Aunty made the decorative mice and toad stools for the cakes!
~ They had Pottery painting…
~ ….and a Storyteller who told stories in a wodden hut in the forest!
~ Their outfits were sourced from Vintage shops / ebay (check out Sarah’s wooden handbag!)
~ All guests made animal masks and wore them 🙂
~ Sarah & Peet designed, made and were super proud to wear their masks (in Peet’s case a Top Hat with a difference!)
~ It was very relaxed, full of fun and intimate
All in all, what I really love is that Sarah and Peet totally did it their own way…it was original, quirky and crammed full of their favourite things and people 🙂 So much fun, so much love and so much gorgeousness.
I think I’m going to just let the piccies do the talking…
