Adlington Hall Wedding

Katie and Damien’s wonderful wedding took place in beautiful Cheshire at Adlington Hall a few weeks ago now, on what was suggested to be the luckiest day to marry – 10.10.10…! Everything about their day was lovely, kicking off with Katie getting ready with their children and all her bestest girlfriends around. That was one busy kitchen I can tell you…! hehe I must say one of the funniest moments for me was when a few of Katie’s girlfriends descended on her boys (see piccies below!) to aid the getting ready process – very funny indeed!!!

What I always love about each wedding I capture, is how there are so many unique and special touches…in this case it was how they involved their children in the day. The most touching being Richard – Katie’s eldest son – giving her away, along with Charlie – Damien’s son – being the Best Man – super lovely indeed! 🙂 Some more lovely touches included how Katie hand made all the pate for the starters (if you love pate, then you must check out her website and order some in for Christmas – trust me you will not be disappointed!!!), and how friends provided cows (and yes, you did read that right – cows…! Damien being a butcher has lots of farmer/butcher friends!) and sticky toffee pudding for the wedding breakfast – very tasty indeed!

So, all in all a truly love filled sunny day at Adlington Hall..
