2017 Best Wedding Photography
2017 Best Wedding Photography.
Wow…well I can’t quite believe it’s come and gone…it’s been a busy year both professionally and personally. I’ve captured many varied and yet equally fabulous weddings, taking me from Leicestershire to Lake Como – and many places in between. Though regardless of where my camera takes me, for me it’s always all about the people. After 8 years of capturing weddings, I still feel truly privileged that people trust me with their memories. I recently came across this quote from the renowned American photographer Aaron Siskind, who put it beautifully… “PHOTOGRAPHY is a way of FEELING, of TOUCHING, of LOVING. What you have caught on film is captured FOREVER. It REMEMBERS little things, long after you have forgotten EVERYTHING”.
Thank you to all my couples whom invited me into their lives this past year. I’ve loved getting to know you, and will forever be grateful to you. To those couples whose wedding days are yet to come, I look forward to being a part of it. I promise to approach you and your wedding day with a joyful, loving heart. To my family and friends, you mean the world to me – thank you for being there for me through the inevitable ups and downs of life. A special thank you to those of you who helped throughout the year by giving me strength and making me laugh, especially during our house move (which ended up being in peak season!), and throughout the emotional turmoil of experiencing our precious little lady starting school! (really where has the last 5 years gone?!?…although the inevitable upside is I may actually get some time to blog this year, and finally sort out my social media side of things this year! Every cloud and all that! haha).
2018…I’m ready for you…in the meantime, you can enjoy this short little slideshow of my personal 2017 highlights.
As well as my 2017 highlights slideshow, here are 50ish of my ultimate favourite images from 2017 for you to enjoy leisurely.
SUSSEX & LONDON
I'm a Sussex based wedding photographer, but I love to shoot all over the south east of England and if you're planning a destination wedding, I'm all ears.
